Do you have any others?
A: It is a well-known fact that up to 80% of available jobs are never posted anywhere. We will work with qualified pubic accountants on a confidential basis to investigate suitable opportunities that match their desired job criteria. The key is to contact us by email for a discussion or by sending us your resume regardless of whether or not you see a “suitable” position posted.
Q: I don’t want my current employer finding out that I am looking for another job. How do I protect my confidentiality?
A: We will never submit your name or resume to an employer without your prior approval.
Q: I am thinking of emigrating. How do I find out more about what is required?
A: Contact us for a discussion of the various professional and governmental requirements if you are an Australian or a New Zealand citizen interested in working in other countries where we have a strong network of public accounting employers, or an international candidate exploring immigration to Australia or New Zealand.
Q: I have no interest in emigrating and intend on staying in Australia/New Zealand. Can you still work with me?
A: Of course. We work with public accounting firms in all the major cities in both countries.
Q: I have been working in public accounting, but would like to move into industry. Can you help me?
A: No. Our entire focus is on providing qualified public accountants to public accounting firms. We do not have commercial or industry contacts.
Q: How can you provide this personal service at no cost?
A: Our costs are paid for by our employers who benefit from introductions to new potential employees and from our work to streamline the hiring process.
Q: Will the hiring employer deduct your fee from my salary?
A: No. Our involvement reduces the cost that employers would have had to pay to advertise and do the recruiting themselves. They are delighted to be exposed to excellent talent that they otherwise might not have been aware of.
Q: Do you have contacts with employers of all sizes?
A: Yes. Once we have determined what your area of interest is and what your career objectives are, we can then target employers of a suitable size and in a suitable geographic area.
Q: I am not qualified as a CA/CPA, but would like to work in public accounting. Can you help me?
A: No. Unfortunately, we only work with qualified CA’s/CPA’s with at least two years’ experience in public accounting.
Q: I am a CPA but have worked for many years in industry rather than public accounting. Can you help me?
A: Unfortunately not. Our employers are looking for prospective employees with recent public accounting experience.
