Senior Manager, Corporate FinancePosition Description:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager is to develop, expand and lead due diligence services for the Corporate Finance division of our client, a well-respected CA firm in Auckland. This mid-tier firm is part of a global network of accounting practices.
The Manager will have the benefit of working with a highly effective due diligence methodology. This role will provide other services including: Accounting opinions, Prospectus production and review, Valuation analytical services, Forensic analytical services, and various other Corporate Finance services.
Qualifications Needed:

Relevant finance or accounting degree

CA or CFA qualified
-
5+ years' experience as an Audit Manager or Audit Senior Manager, preferably in a large CA firm

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
-
Proven experience in financial due diligence is a distinct advantage (training will be provided).

Background in corporate finance a plus.

- A willingness and aptitude to source and manage transaction
services and due diligence assignments
A thorough understanding of legislative and professional requirements
A high degree of commercial acumen and professional judgement
Experience in communicating with company directors, solicitors, bankers, and other advisors
A high standard of professional appearance and approach in dealing with clients
Superior communication skills, both written and oral
An ability to understand thoroughly a client’s business and the commercial environment in which they operate
An understanding of risk management and an ability to apply risk management principles
Strong interpersonal skills including an ability to sell
An ability to grow and manage a due diligence team
Self-motivation.
Salary: Negotiable and commensurate with experience.
