Audit & Corporate Services SeniorA well-respected CA firm in Perth CBD requires an Audit and Corporate Services Senior to join its Audit and Corporate Services Team. This is a progressive firm focused on delivering excellent results to its clients and on providing an internal environment that enables its staff to work independently while being part of the team.
Position Description:
The firm provides Audit services to large public and smaller private companies as well as due diligence and pre-lending support to banking and financial institutions. For this position you require an understanding of Corporations Act and its application and the specific environment in which companies operate. The responsibilities are varied and include the following:
- Registration and deregistration of companies
- Ad-hoc changes to companies (e.g., appointment or resignation of directors, transferring shares)
- Maintenance of secretarial volumes
- ASIC lodgements
- Annual compliance for companies (i.e., company statements and payment of review fee)
- Set-up of discretionary and unit trusts
- Changes to trusts (e.g., change of trustee, deeds of variation, wind-up)
- Business name application and renewals
- Stamping of documents
- Audit and account lodgement requirements for companies.
Qualifications Needed:
- CA/CPA completed or well-underway
- 3 years' experience in Audit and/or Corporate Advisory, or a related specialty in a CA firm, preferably a major international or second-tier firm. Consideration may be given to a candidate with less than 3 years if his/her experience is relevant.
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Strong communication skills

Salary: AU$60,000 range; negotiable depending on experience.
