Kathbern Management is an executive search firm based in Toronto, Canada (www.kathbern.com). Our foray into international recruiting was the result of a joint project with a recruiter in Sydney, Australia, that developed into an online recruiting service now offered to accountants in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and South Africa.

Many firms that had previously not considered accessing the international talent pool, now see merit in broadening their search and, where necessary, in assisting with the immigration process. The opportunity to consider a larger range of qualified CAs/CPAs is made even easier because Kathbern Management screens candidates carefully and only proposes those who are a best match for the position and who have the immigration process well underway.

 

Personal Attention

We work with each person on an individual basis to determine their area of specialization, location or relocation interest, ideal employer characteristics and timing. We offer advice on resume preparation. We discuss potential employers that we will contact on the candidate’s behalf.  We organization interviews, act as a communication channel between the employer and the candidate. We work towards getting an offer into the candidate’s hands and organize reference checks if required by the employer. 

 

Relocation/Immigration

If immigration to a new country is involved, we offer limited advice and are able to refer candidates to government sources and immigration consultants who are knowledgeable in this area.
